Getting Prank calls at work. Help?

I work for PBX at a hospital and I answer the phones and also answer the calls that come in through about 100 drs' office lines. Some guy just finished calling a medical clinic and asking me why i just finished calling him and said not to call him. I stated that there was no possible way that someone called from the number he was calling because that office does not open up on sundays and there would be no one in the office. He then said "Oh..... umm sorry, MOTHER F#@%ker" and hung up. I was like hmm... so my partner and I came up with a plan that if he called back we would answer the line"This line has been forwarded to LAPD for call harrasment investigation. How may I help you?" What do you guys think? Any suggestions would be great.
 
Acutally, we could do that but not on sundays..
the only way we could do that today would be if it was a criminal act and this does'nt seem that severe. The phone company would also do that but... they are not open to offer you the service. mon-fri. one more thing.. we have over 1000 lines in the hospital. We would have to track the line and that would take a while.

Now ask yourself.. do you think this prank caller is worth doing all this for?

i get prank calls at my house occasionally. i always have the cops trace it, then i find the street address (i have a real fun program), then if it's close (generally is), i head over there in my ghetto camry, and knock on their door. generally dumbass freshmen or some crap. time for a good asskicking.

Wow, 626... Which hospital do you work at? I'm originally from the area...

And did this just happen once? If so, maybe it was just an isolated incident and won't happen again.
 

it must be nice to not have real problems to be worried about.....(i mean, you aren't really worried about this are you??)
