I have a 4MP camera and want to make a couple posters. Is that a high enough resolution? I don't know what size yet (probably whatever size frame would be cheapest). What size would you suggest and what is the best (price, quality, shipping w/out damage) place to get it made, either online or local?

how big you wanna go?

ive printed 24x36 from a 3mp camera and it looked fine (6mp DSLR pics blow it away tho) , just make sure its a good pic and you get it that big at 300 DPI in PS first

an online place will be fine there are a few good ones, they usially ship in in a hard tube, if you want it framed do it locally

Maybe not even 24x36. Whatever the popular sizes are, for cheaper frames. 20x24?
I don't understand what you mean about getting it that big at 300DPI in PS.

So my question was who (online) does good posters?

They're pretty expensive.. I had a few done at a local place and it cost about $40 a pop. These were really high res, poster size, glossy prints though.
