Getting Pop-Up ads away

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if anyone has experience stupid ads from
www.byebyeads.com.

it is in a "Messenger Service" window, with all text message saying something like
"Are you tired of all these messanger popups?
you can stop these typo of popups and ads by going to www.byebyeads.com"
blah blah blah..
and you have to buy their products to get it away... or it seems like that.

I tried Ad-Aware and Spybot... it still can't get it away..

Would you please give me some other suggestion?

turn off messenger service

go to administrative tools, services, find the "messenger" service, and set it to never turn on

it's actually a CLI based thing that allows you to send messages to people on your network, but spammers have started abusing it

I didn't know spammers start using the Messager service..
I thought it was just some ads that make it looks like a messager window.
