Here is the system I am looking to get for gaming and overlocking:
Arctic Cooling - Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler for P4/775

CRUCIAL - BallistiX 2GB PC2-8500 Dual Channel DDR2 Kit (2 x 1GB)

Intel - Core?2 Quad Processor Q6600 2.4GHz w/ 2x4MB Cache

Lian Li - PC-60B Plus II Aluminum Mid Tower, Black

Western Digital - 500GB Caviar SE16 7200rpm SATA II w/ 16MB Cache

XFX - GeForce 8800 GT 512MB PCI-E Alpha Dog Edition w/ Dual DVI, HDTV-Out

Gigabyte - GA-P35-DS4 w/ DualDDR2 1066, 7.1+2 Audio, Gigabit Lan, PCI-E x16 Crossfire

LG - Super Multi Blue Blu-ray / HD DVD-ROM Drive, SATA, Black (Retail Box)

OCZ - 600W StealthXStream Power Supply w/ Quad +12V

Any suggestions to have it overlock the Q6600?

No real need to get memory above pc6400 since you'll probably run the fsb at oh say 400 using an 8x multiplier, but if the cost isn't too much more and you want it, go for it.

If you're buying this to game, you may want to know that games currently don't make good use of four cores. They most likely will down the road, but whether that happens in a year or three years isn't clear right now.

If you can wait one month you can get a 45nm quad for the same price, it'll give your system some life later on
