I'm currently running an pentium 805D on an ecs m-ATX mobo with 1 gb gskill ram, i recently found a great deal (here on anandtech) on:

a GIGABYTE p35-ds3l - Mobo
a C2D e6750 - cpu
a Thermaltake Big typhoon -hsf
4gb ocz reaper edition ram rated @ 1066
(all for 205 shipped, steal eh? :p)

now my current psu, a turbolink 500w max, (in cpuz program) is bouncing between 1.248V and 1.264V to my processor, is that normal? and i'm wondering if it will be enough to power my new gear plus 2 hdd's a dvd rom, and a 9600gt 512mb video card. If not what would you guys suggest i get as far as wattage/rails/volts in a PSU (brands too).

Any and all help would be appreciated because I have NO CLUE when it comes to PSU's.

Thanks ^.^

*Edit: Price Matters of course. and I'd prefer to stay around 70$ range. Futhermore I've been looking at This One. any comments/ ideas/opinions? Thanks again *End Edit

I would get a new psu reguardless if it has enough power or not. You're spending all this money on a brand new system for yourself just to risk it all with a crappy psu. you don't have to spend $100, even a good quality $50 one will do well for what you're getting.

The PP&C 610W PSU you linked is excellent, but unless you plan on leaving a lot of room for upgrades and expansions, it's overkill for your system, although the price is tempting.

This PP&C 500W is a quality unit that'll save you a few bucks and still leaves some room for upgrades.

EDIT...some other quality brands are Corsair, Antec EA series, Hiper, Seasonic, etc.
