Getting new memory- how's crucial?

I had 2 gigs of ddr... I have an rma issued w/ crucial- they'll give me $120-130 for it, as store credit. I have to spend it on their website.

Is their ballistix good? I have vista, and plan on overclocking, so I'm thinking 4 gigs of 800mhz or 1066mhz.

Is the 1066 worth it, given my nvidia chipset can unlink memory speeds from fsb changes?
here are some links of crucial ddr2 I was looking at:
4gb 4-4-4-12 6400
4gb 4-4-4-12 6400 (tracer)
4gb 4-4-4-12 6400 (red tracer)
2gb 5-5-5-15 8500
2gb 5-5-5-15 8500 (tracer)

I was a bit surprised to find they don't have 8500 in single dimm, 2gb densities. I don't want to spend money for 4gb of 8500, and I'm guessing having 2gb in vista will not be wise, despite the speed. If thats untrue- let me know.

Is their memory worthwhile enough to spend my credit on it? Or should I get my ram on newegg, and spend the credit on flash drives, or an ssd for my laptop?

So the 2x2gb 6400 ballistix then? With that being under my credit-limit, is there any difference between the standard ballistix and tracer- besides the LEDs?

Tracers are reported to OC about 5-10 MHz less than ballistix. If you have a window in your case, they will overpower any lights inside that you currently have. But they look pretty fun.
