Getting naked = no war?

Could someone explain to me why a lot of people are getting naked and spelling out no war with their bodies? I just don't get why they are naked when they do this.
 
So does this mean that all the people walking around wearing clothes are 'pro-War'?
 
I'd be happier about it if the hippies weren't all old and hairy..... but hey to each his own, they're getting attention aren't they?
