getting my system ready for the movers

Any advice on getting it ready for shipping? I won't even have the chance to supervise because we're going on vacation and having the stuff stored here until we get a new place.

I figure on taking out the hard drive, and sliding the plastic dealy that came with my plextor back in, but other than that I'm not sure what to do.

Of course part of me wishes it would get damaged in transit so I could get a new one, but gotta have a job first.

At my last move my slotket adaptor lost grip and was hangin' around in the case...surprise when opening the case (why the heck doesn't it fire up???) => :Q

Maybe the 1lb. Alpha cooler was too heavy 😱

Thankfully nothing happened...ran like new after plugging it back in...so if you have some heavy cooler/heatsink installed I recommend removing this...

Who cares about a job. Moving companies have insurance. They break it they bought it. Just order something so that your IP address is on file. That way they can't say it didn't work before they got there.

That is the nice thing about Military moving companies. I made so much money when I moved. They lost so much junk. Scratched things. Luckily nothing of importance.
