Getting my Radeon PCI 7200 32MB TVOUT setup!

Man this card has some serious driver issues, makes me wish Nvidia cards had good tv out. Anyways, whenever I enable tv-out, it makes my monitor squashed to about 3/4 of its original size and i can't size it back to full screen even using both my monitor and the driver adjustments. Now, I've set my monitor to 800X600 and my TVout to 800X600 as well. It sets my monitor at a 60hz refresh rate for some odd reason too. I'm using win98se.

Now everything looks great, it's just that there are these little irksome problems. Any ideas or fixes? using win98se latest catalyst drivers, and its the pci radeon 7200 using svideo output.

No odd reasons. It's simply that Radeon 7200 (which is the original Radeon with a new badge) doesn't have dual display capabilities - meaning that if you have two outputs running, they both have the exact same content and signal timing.

If you want your TVout to be truly separate in both timing and content (or just timing), you need a different Radeon - anything but the 7200 in fact. 7000, 7500 and 9000 are best because they already contain the TV-out circuitry in the main chip, so practically all those cards have TV-out. 8500 needs a separate RageTheater chip for this.
