Getting my first laptop

My girlfriend is selling her desktop and were going to get a laptop. I've decicded on the Acer AS5672WLMi.

This laptop will be used for her main computer, running small apps, internet, e-mail, digital camera photos, mp3 player and it will be used by me for some light gaming when I travel. The laptop has gotten great reviews at Newegg, but has anyone heard any bad things about this? It seems the only problem is some people think it gets too warm at times. Thanks.

How about an E1505? You could get it similarly speced and it may be a little cheaper.

Either way, it looks like a pretty good buy.
 
Nice laptop, but E1505 with available Dell Coupon can make that affordable. Recommend XP Pro or at the least Windows Media Center.
Up your RAM to 1GB and 7200RPM Harddrive. A 128MB video card is recommended too. The rest is up to you.
 
I ordered the Acer the Acer yesterday. I'm not a fan of Dell even though I get 15% off with my UPS discount. The specs were still better with the Acer for the money.
