getting my Explorer detailed next week

I have never had a car detailed before so I don't really know what to expect.

Anyone here have experience with this?

Anything I should watch for?

they are doing the interior, exterior, and engine compartment.

Since I don't clean my own car I can only offer the advise of what my customers pay for.

Most of my classic muscle car customers pay me $75-125 to clean their engine, engine compartment, interior seats, dash, & carpets, trunk, and wash and wax the exterior including polishing the glass if needed.

Then again their cars are pretty clean from storage through the winter months. 😀

Steam clean those carpets and we can talk. 😉

ask them what they use on the exterior. you can then buy some for a quick touch up when the car is dirty. ask them to recommend a quik detailing product.

You're having it detailed right BEFORE winter? Why would you do that just so you can get snow and salt all over it for the next few months? I'd wait until spring so you can show off your fancy pimped out truck.

There is no way I would personally spend anywhere near that amount but that's your business. Having $200 extra dollars in my account is more important than a glistening Explorer IMHO.
