Getting more voltage out of a BM6?

Hey there. I just got my CUSpacer in the mail (THANK YOU T.GILLITZER!!!), and my Celery2-566 is cooking at 892MHz and 1.65V.

But, I think it could cook a LOT more. Temp under full load is only 32C (!!). I think this baby can go higher... WAY higher. It could have GHz potential... drool.

Any suggestions on getting more juice out of this board? I've heard about the "re-Flashing at max voltage" trick, but is there an easier way? Also, why don't I ever see the correct speed at POST? Sigh Abit... 105x8.5 != 850. =)

Cheers!

"Flash trick" for the voltage does not work with the BM6. The HL
(original) bios has voltage from 1.3 to 2.3. This is the bios that came with my board. Find out if you can flash back to HL.

theres a trick around this forum about how to wire a few bins on the socket-370 to bump the voltage up on the bm6.

search around.

You need to connect pin on your CPU to changing your voltage, with your celeron you could go with 1.65 or 1.9 volt, if you connect VID 1 and VID 0 with VSS you get 1.65 default, if you connect VID 3 to VSS you get 1.9 volt.
