when i was using win98, i used to be able to get at least 88 fps while playing counter-strike (evil evil game... will take a part of your life away)....

ever since using winxp and win2k.. i haven't been able to get anything over 60 fps...

i'm using... nvmax 2.0 i believe... i don't remember....

if anyone can give me some tips on how to get more fps, i'd appreciate it, thanks :):(

I think there is a volt mod out there too.....:D

You only see about 30 of them frames too. But I see where your comin from, where did they go:disgust:

Wouldn't a stannic coating simply interfere with the performance of the copper?

Have you installed the nVidia refresh rate fix? It's possible that XP has you set to 60hz refresh rate.

I agree, Vsync is probally on. No other Explantion. Either that, or you need new drivers.

Stop it from oxidizing. My copper sink that was on my proc is all dark and dirty and gross.....I got them sinks on a kyroII now, and am gettin more for my radeon 8500.
