Getting message "preparing your computer for standby" randomly

Since yesterday I have been getting the message "Please wait while windows prepares your computer for standby" on my Windows SE computer. This message is random and stays on the screen. Am not sure if this is related, but I installed the wireless Logitech keyboard/mouse combo a couple days ago.
Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Check your power management settings. The Logitech gear is probably preserving battery life.

Thanks jackschmittusa. I checked the Power Management Settings. They are all set to 'never'.
