Getting Memory Error - TV Stick App

My KWorld digital TV stick works great but then (on occasion) when I start the TV app, I get an error. Re-installing the ATI UBS filters seemed to be the fix for a while but now, it doesn't help. I've unplugged,re-plugged the stick into USB 2.0 ports (and the USB 3.0 ports) but to no avail. I reinstalled Windows XP w/SP3 and all updates, but to no avail. Anyone know what's causing this error? I know the USB function on this particular motherboard is not very good; could that be the problem ? I ran MemTest86, all memory passed. When I plug the TV stick into a USB 2.0 port a message pops open, says "Device will perform faster using a High Speed USB 2.0 port". I went to device manager and it shows the USB 2.0 ports as ENHANCED. Once I run the app and it fails, I close it ans when I try to run the app again it will not start, so I have to reboot each time.

Hardware:

KWorld ATSC TV Stick UB435-Q

ASUS M4A87TD-USB3
Athlon II x 3 440
2 x 2GB Kingston 1066 CAS 7 DDR3 KVR1066D3N7K2/4G
eVGA 460GTX 1MB
SeaSonic X750 Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

Here's the error message :

attempt to continue.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

dunno but heres a couple random thoughts...

Are you running this from a windows account with admin rights? if not try it, Iv had some apps that wouldn't run in limited users till there security settings were manually changed.

i have no knowledgeable reason why i suggest this next idea other then the fact it looks like .net is involved so could it hurt to try? last post here...
