Congratulations! You may think all you have to do is show up, but if you are a wise man you will at least show an interest when she starts asking your opinion on some of the planning. :)

what is the point in taking so long?

if you were in charge of the NASA space program, we'd still be sending up gemini capsules into orbit

oh hell yes. Most reception halls get booked up if you don't act sooner than 9 months from your date. Remember there are only so many Saturdays or Sundays to go around...

Definitely, large banquet halls are not easy to come by. I'm expecting 300-350 guests at mine.

I'm proposing in under a month! :D

Same here. July 5th

awesome! good luck!! :)

Either the 15th or 22nd for me...waiting on one last thing to fall in place to decide which Friday :D :D :D

And yes, take interest in the wedding stuff. It'll mean more to her than you know. I'm a dude and I'd take interest just to make her happy. It's a small thing that makes a lot of difference.

And to all yall who think "one"gina is so bad, at least we miss out on syphillis and ghono, and herpes, and "ill"ginas.

You need to see more movies.

And say it with me, "vagina." V-A-G-I-N-A.

I do take interest here and there. We're deciding on a reception place now and I'm driving her all over the place looking for one. Plus, I've been appointed the picture taker, so I have the duty of reviewing the pics of the places we've been to.

hey! that's not too bad of an idea as a wedding favor. However, I don't think my grandma and aunts would know what to do with it.

Business is well, things are chugging along nicely :)

Good for you. :) It's a good thing that you two took a few years to get to know each other first. Unfortunately you don't see a lot of that these days...
