Hi guys!

I use Windows XP for a while now, and I miss some of my old games and some stuff I can't run with XP. I was thinking about having a second partition with Win98SE (I still have the CD here).

How can I do that? I have a friend that has Partition Magic so he can borrow me for the partitioning, but I don't know how to have a boot chooser program to get into WinXP or Win98SE when starting up.

Can you help me on this one?

Thx.

partition magic is bundled with a program called boot magic, which u can use to choose between OS's when ur pc starts. also, for the games that u cannot run under xp... have u tried using compatability mode?

If your friend has PartitionMagic I believe there is also a boot manager on that program. I can't say I'm 100% positive because
I use Linux and OpenBSD which have boot managers (LILO and Grub) that come with the programs. Also too if you have Grokster you can dowload
the program (Boot Magic) for free. Also try doing a search at www.hotbot.com ( type "boot manager" and then choose "exact phrase")
or google for free or shareware utilities. I'm surprised that WinXP doesn't have a boot manager, but I've never used it so I don't know.
Hope this is some help to you.

Yes, I did. But I have many DOS games, and having those to work with sound is a pain in the arse.

accually you should be able to just add win 98 to your boot.ini file in Xp and all will be well with out using a boot program!
