Getting into the computer industry?

I've been looking for a computer related job, I've been having a hard time breaking in though. I took an A+ Certification course, but I haven't taken the test yet though.
I don't know how much that matters though, considering that most of the jobs I see listed want people with college degrees, MCSE, or CCNA's.

I have some hands on exp. but as I said most of the jobs want people with networking skills etc. I can't even get a job at BB or Circuit City :p

I'm stumped as far as what I can or should do. Any Suggestions?

With a name like "Thetech" it seems you would be a shoe in.

I am pretty sure a Geek Squad or Firedog job does not require a college degree, so if you can't get a job there, then I don't think it's the paper qualifications.

And I noticed, Ironically, your post count is a 404 (Degree not Found)

I didn't notice that, lol. But hey that's fixed now!

As far as a college degree goes I don't think I could pass the SAT! My Math skills are awful!

I question whether computers are the right field for you then. While math is not necessarily super important to the job, the kind of people who are good are math are the kind of people who are typically good at computers. Has to do with the way you think if you know what I mean.

Anyways, try for a help desk position.

Goto community college instead of taking the SAT and transfer to a University after you have enough credits to do so?

The SAT tests middle school and maybe 9th grade level math, not calculus there really should not be a big problem there so long as you can do basic problem solving skills.
