Getting Intel P4 3.0 Ghz 800FSB

Is this the right time to buy? I have not checked the recent price, but I think the price seems to go up instead of down recently. Or should I get a lower one? I have P4P800 motherboard and trying to build my first system 🙂

if your gonna overclock, i recommend getting a 2.4C, 2.6C, or 2.8C. even if you arent gonna OC, i'd get the 2.8 as the extra 200 mhz isnt worth the difference in price

Yeah, don't get the 3.0 ghz, those just aren't worth it.

2.4C hit 3.0 relatively easy so... listen to ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
