Getting IE to retain window size/position...

I know this sounds picky, but if I'm ever watching TV on my desktop (I have a TV tuner card) I like to keep all of my windows a certain size so I can watch TV while I'm on the web. Usually once I resize the window, IE will remember that position whenever I open a new window. Now, when I initially open IE, it remembers the size/position, but whenever I open a new window off of it, it goes to the default size. Anyone know how to get IE to retain this setting?

Open up IE.
Size the window the way you like it.
Hold down the Shift key and close the window at the same time.
Reopen IE, and viola.

IE will remember the size and position of the last window that was closed, but when you being using multiple IE windows, it starts moving them to the left side of the screen and then begins cascading to the right... very annoying

Get ZMover. This will position any window where you specify. Works great. It is shareware, but for $10 it's very much wrth the price until MS gets their head out their ass and let's me postion IE where I want.

err? What kind of tv card are you running. I've had my hauppauge wintv dbx for years.. i've never had problems with windows getting in the way. Use "Always on Top" feature.. very useful:p Also, with wintv you just rightclick on the tv window once and you are left with nothing but an image with a very thin border.. saves screen space and is resizable.
