Im wondering if you connect all of the L7 bridges on your Thunderbird/Duron will it give you higher voltages in the bios? If anyone has tried please let me know. This damn 750 thunderbird won't go any higher than 918...that needs to change.

Athlons run at a default of 1.75v so four of the five L7 bridges should already be connected leaving the middle one at L7 to be connected for a max vCore of 1.85. Durons have 1.60v by default leaving 2 bridges at L7 to connect for 1.85 max vCore. Once all bridges at L7 are connected BIOS will allow you to vCore select through the entire range up to 1.8v. The overclockers BIOS will extend that range from 1.80 to 1.85 though the L7's still have to be connected.

I can get 1.3 to 1.85 already without messing with the L7 bridges...im asking if anyone has connected all bridges so that 1.85 is default and gotten higher voltages in the bios.

With the L7's connected the highest voltage (ie 1.85) became my default voltage. If I want lower I have to change it in BIOS but by default it runs at 1.85 for me with L7's connected.

i have my pro2-a that gives me 0.05v more than whatever voltage you set

not a bad board but the mobo die and i RMA it

now, the new mobo doesn't give me the 0.05v more and i can hardly get over 1.1gig with my D-800

well i upgraded to the latest bios and i get about .05 more than any setting so i get 1.9 when at 1.85 volts. I guess there isn't a way yet to get higher voltages than that. Oh well.
