Getting high temps since bios update

Hi all,

Old bios was reading idle temps at 53c for cpu 33c for system

MBM and Everest read temps as follows

31 degrees idle cpu. 38 load
Had been running small 5% overclock. 33 degrees idle. 40c load

Just updated the bios:

Bios read cpu temps at stock at 40c. system at 33 So bios reading for cpu went down 13 degrees.

Now everest and mbm read the following:

Running 39 degrees idle 53 load
5% overclock running 42c idle 55 load

Does the bios update actually change temps or does the bios update change the way temps are read.

bios readings were never really accurate, so either your update made your reading more accurate or less.

see if there are any other ways you can check your temps.
