I find peanut butter works well. If that doesn't work try olive oil, lemon juice, tartar sauce, chocolate syrup, gravy, bacon fat, humus, baba ghanouj, and mayonnaise.

Freezing works well, make sure it's totally cold and hard, or else you might end up with the top part of the gum off, but this little patch still stuck on there.

so you guys know of any sort of detergant or whatever that would get the gum out if the freezing doesn't work?

or maybe i can just try the bacon fat that peto suggested 😉

<< this reminds me so muych of that Simpsons episode where Bart throws gum in Lisa's hair as he skateboards past >>

Ha ha...and she ends up having to get her hair cut to get it out 🙂

Probably will since gum is fat soluable. How is he going to get out the oil stain? I was looking for an answer to that anyways in my earlier thread on how to get oil spots out of my shirt.

i had gum in my jeans from a restaurant. some person left gum on the chair and i sat on it. all i did was pick at it and got as much out of it as i could; then i put it in the laundry. most of it was gone when it came out. what was left just blended into my jeans. 🙂 watch the episode of simpsons where lisa gets gum in her hair and try the tips there 🙂

whoa.......no suggestions here, but I read your thread subject a little too fast and thought you got something "else" in your clothes.....either way, hope you get it out. ^_^

yeah, it's late and I miss my g/f. 🙂
