getting geforce to work in win98

Once upon a time (about a month ago), I had a geforce(sdr) and win98. I dumped win98 a while back, and I recently sold the geforce to a guy running win98 (on a abit kt7a). He also has an old voodoo3 pci. I remember having to mess around with certain drivers and patches (besides the standard via 4 in 1 when I installed the thing), but time and various files have replaced those files both in my memory and on my drive. Would someone please remind me what other files I need?
Also, the guy claims that if he removes the voodoo, and tries to boot with the geforce, all he gets is a long beep from the speaker and no display? Any idea what may be causing this?

GreaseEater was telling me he had problems with GeForece and a Abit KA7. We were talking about T-Bird compatabilty with the KA7 and he said;

"Also, the reason I don't recommend the KA7 is that with the revision of the board I have there is an incompatibility with some Geforce2 cards (mines a Hercules 64mb). It causes an error on boot-up, but a quick reset will fix it. Once its running it is a stable board though. With my CPU set at 864mhz it will run for weeks at a time, including some extended 3d gaming sessions. If you can, get a different board, I'm putting together a KT7A tonight, I'll see how that goes...."

You might shoot a PM to him.

You might get him if you check my posting under the Motherboards category for "Abit KA7 and T-bird's"
