Getting footage from video games

I have an XBox, and I'd like to capture some video footage from a couple games. Is there a way to hook my XBox to my computer to do this? What hardware/software is required?

Well... I know nothing about video.

I was hoping I could get a video card of some sort that would allow me to plug in the "video in" cable (not sure what that's called) directly to the video card, so I could record that way. But then I need some software to do the recording. I'm not sure where to start looking. Can someone make any recommendations?

In these parts, it's called a RCA jack. Just get a TV tuner, it should come with some software to do it with, if not Windows Movie Maker that comes with XP should be able to do it.

I'd get someone to confirm that though. Just go and look at them at your nearest computer store, go home, and call the company if the sales people at the store don't know anything.
