getting DSL

I am getting DSL all I want it for is to play CS:source.... is 1.5 megabits sufficient? or should I pull out the big bucks for 3.0 megabits ... thanks

Gaming you won't see a difference, the latency, ping etc would be the same.

I also agree you wont see a difference in ping time when playing really. All though if you plan on hosting games then the extra speed will help some.
