Getting data off a QIC-80 tape?

I found some old QIC-80 tapes that I had recorded about 15 years ago.

Would a tape drive work in a Vista machine? I think it used the floppy drive connectors. I believe I did the backup with the utility included in Windows 95.

I tried something similar in the past with backup tapes from work. We didn't have the original drive, but I found one similar. I had to install Win95 due to drivers, and I couldn't read the tapes anyway. People here said if the drive wasn't the same(meaning the old drive you used to record) that recorded the tapes, it would be luck of the draw whether you got the data or not; I didn't :^/
