Getting cut in line

The WORST is when you are driving and there is a construction zone that reduces it down to one lane. You have the people who are already in the open lane jump over to the lane that is closing so they can speed ahead another 20 cars and then cut back in.

Makes me want to rage hard. It makes me happy when tractor trailers split the lane to prevent people from doing this.

I hate that. I never let those people back in either. If everyone else stopped letting them in, then they probably would stop doing it.

When people cut in front of you they are in perfect position for deploying your garrote which should restore your original position in line.

Word. That ass barista needs to be fired or at least disciplined over that.
I know it sounds like I'm overreacting, but rudeness has no place in a service industry, and some people can't seem to figure that out on their own. :colbert:

LOL...yeah, I won't do this because its against my moral code. It doesn't have to be a construction zone either, it happens at any lane merge. And I do not allow people back in, but most people will so it doesn't matter what I do. It works though, if I block them they just slow down and chances are the guy behind me will let them in.

The most hilarious are the ones that don't just immediately give up when I block them out and move on to the weaker prey. That's all they have to do and their strategy is still a winning one, but some of them seem to genuinely think its other people's problem that they want to merge at the last second. They run out of lane and end up stopped in the road, then put on the horn, as if they didn't know what they were doing and are shocked by the turn of events.

Actually, I listened to a car talk the other day where one of the guys from other side called in and they gently ribbed him over his assumptions.

People seem to forget that your server is just some average joe who is probably pissed that he has to serve people who treat him like he isn't a person and sometimes treat him like shit. But it's the owner/managers job to make sure the employees aren't assholes, so there are many moving parts

Never been cut in line. Then again I speak up if someone tries.

No one messes with me though, oddly enough. I'm not a big dude. Only 5'8" 145lbs. And at least I don't think I look terrifying.

I don't think any of what the OP posted actually happened. He just wanted to over dramatize something simple and use it to express how much he hates all the "types" of people he listed.

In regards to getting cut in line, I am OK with it. People sometime allow me to go ahead of them if they see I have fewer items or not as complicated a request/need as they do.

I don't think I've been cut in front of my entire life. Yet, this guy makes it sound like it happens all the time.

It's been ages since anyone has cut in front of me. That time the situation was rectified by simply saying "Hey, I'm next bub" or something like that. I've let people who asked get ahead of me many times though.

Bullshit.

Bullshit.

Indeed, or rather - I did not properly think about it.

I have not been cut in front of, in line, anywhere near the degree that the OP states he has.

There; now, you can go clean the dribbling semen off of the side of your leg.

What's your obsession with cleaning up bodily fluids?

I couldn't give a flying fuck if you don't think the Starbucks incident happened. These three incidents happened in a relative rapid succession in the last two months which made me call it out more quickly than ever. Prior to that I don't get cut more than the average Joe. So why don't you take a big step back and literally fuck your own face

You people are so sensitive. I could give a fuck about driving and people cutting me off. No one cuts in front of me in a line because they know I'll kill their families.
