Getting blood out of clothing

I cut myself at work today and didnt realize.
I got a big stain of blood on my pants. Are there any good ways to remove it or will it stain?

WHILE THE BLOOD is still wet, use cold milk to rinse it out. Cold water is another possibility, if cold milk is not available.

Once it actually dries, it's going to be harder to get it all out. hydrogen peroxide is a good place to start, though.

Just wash it. I've had blood all over my clothes on several occasions. Nothing a little Tide won't get out.

For serious blood spatter I've found that nothing really works. You'll have to burn the clothing.
