Getting all windows hotfix and patch after -xp /sp2

After every windows installation . Windows update takes around couple of hours to download the hotfix and patches

Is there any site which hosts all the service patch and fixes released after Windows XP/sp2
so that we could download it all in one go and use it when ever we do an installation

i used autopatcher xp http://www.autopatcher.com/

But it makes sense to download all the patches and keep in network and deploy them at once
If any one knows of such site plz share it

P.s I know its available in microsft site ...But if any one knows any sites with listing of patches and hotfix it much easier

Thanks in advance

There's a program called WSUS that does it. WSUS free download. It keeps a full set of Microsoft patches up-to-date locally on your server.

If that's not quite what you had in mind, install WinXP SP2, then use Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.0 to see what else is needed, and download those patches one by one and save them. Keep in mind that some will go obsolete as revised versions come out.

or get a copy of acronic true image and never download the same update twice, ever again! great backup program, i love it!

thanks for the replies . I Have seen Network admins using Micrsoft SMS server to deploy the patch and keep them updated . that is much easier to deploy from network than going to windows update site

SMS costs many thousands of dollars. WSUS is free (subtracting the cost of a server license to put it on).
