Getting a watermark on certain pictures in windows movie Maker

Making a slideshow set to music for my gfs mom's birthday. When I drag certain pictures in, I get a watermark on them that says Epson DSC picture. Anyway to fix this? Do these pictures have DRM on them or some dumb nonsense? How can I get around this?

Never heard of that happening. Are you sure the photos themselves aren't watermarked already vs movie maker causing them to be added?

If you look at those pics in something like Irfanview, do you see the watermark? Usually that occurs when one uses downloaded pics that are not free, but have not been paid for. How big is the watermark? Can you post a sample?

here is what it looks like when I drag it in:

On the right you can see it says Epson DSC under the picture, and in the actual slideshow, I get the message in the middle of the picture.

When I look at it in windows photo viewer, I dont get any sort of watermark. Im pretty sure these pictures were put on CD by her mom from CVS or something. they are really old pictures - probably before digital cameras were popular.

I guess as a last resort, I can always upload them to imgur, and then re-download - so itll strip any other info from the picture....

EDIT: OK I see now if I go to properties in the picture, there is a title there that says EPSON DSC picture. Any quick way of changing all of them? Its pretty much like removing info from an mp3.
