Getting a TV Tuner.

I want to upgrade my TV tuner and to finally have a use for the barely-used PCI-E 1X slots, so i've been looking at these two:

Im stuck between these two.

What do you guys use, and what do you recommend? I appreciate any input.

i almost got a tv tuner. i narrowed it down to the ati and a hauppauge. apparently ati has better image quality, but the hauppauge wins in every other category. i wouldn't bother with that first one.

The ATI card you have linked is regular PCI, not PCI-E 1X.
You might want to look at the Hauppage 1800 too, it should be hitting stores about now.

doh! I just realized the link was for regular PCI, but no matter. Ill find another store that carries the PCIE 1x version.

Here is the PCIe version of the FusionHDTV5. I pass the AC3 audio to my sound card digital output and on to my surround receiver via optical toslink.
