getting a stable 200mhz nforce2 fsb

A review I read at Tom's Hardware mentioned how unstable their Barton 2500 was when running @ 200mhz. They blamed it on no available platforms at the time that could support a stable 200mhz much less keep it synchronous with ddr400 memory. That review was on Feb 10th.

I also read at HardOCP that they could get the T-bred 2400 up to 200mhz without a fuss.

I really want to utilize DDR400 memory but can't figure out which core to use. I'm tempted by the Barton 2500 because of the higher stock frequency, which means (in theory) that I could go even higher than 400. But I also read that the Barton has issues with getting the multiplier unlocked.

As it is, I'm leaning toward the 2400 in hopes of getting "3000+" speeds @ 200mhz, which would be a great experience for a first-time ocer. Thoughts?

most nforce 2 boards sold now(the Rev. 2's) are able to do 200FSB out of the box

I had some stability problems with my 8RDA+ at the default chipset voltage; did the VDD mod - chipset is at 1.81V stable now, running 200MHz sync RAM and CPU bus speed. (Tbred 2100@2600 - 2.1GHz).

I don't believe mine is a revision 2. It says Rev. 2.0 on the PCB, but every benchmark I've ran says 1.x

I have an older A2 chipset on my 75FRN and with the tweaked bios with vdd access I get the full 211fsb the board offers silky smooth whereas 190fsb was the limit before, so Tom's info was accurate but incomplete.
