The best part of this is my mom got this in her email and it's not even her car. It was actually the receipt for paying the fine, but it had the citation # and license plate listed, so I decided to go on the website and check it out. We have no idea who's car it is. I'm guessing someone had my mom's email (her work email, no less) autocomplete and didn't notice or something.

but the amount of people that turn on on those "no turn red" intersections is getting out of control where i live.

Does not matter. There's a sign that reads NO TURN ON RED. So if the light is red and you turn even after stopping you pay a $75 toll.

Well he/she did slow down! I read somewhere that said 80% of the red light camera tickets are for not complete stop on right turn.

Thats pretty weak. If I got a ticket for a right turn on red that I slowed down for but didn't completely stop i'd be pretty pissed. Especially if the light had just turned red and there was noone else around. The law is the law though I guess.

That's what I hate about all these auto-ticketing things like speeding, stop lights, etc... There is no discretion at all. You just get a bill in the mail regardless of the circumstances.

edit: apparently there is a no turn on red sign. I still don't really see it though, unless that white sign on the other side of the road is it.

I don't see how my title implies anything. It says if you run a red light you get to watch it on video. If I had said "I get to watch my dumb ass", then I could see your point.
