This might actually fit in the "Peripherals" section, but I thought I'd have better luck here. I'm looking to get a plain 61 semi-weighted key MIDI controller. The only two options as I see it are this http://www.zzounds.com/item--MDOKEYSTAT61 and this http://www.zzounds.com/item--FATSL161. I've seen and played both of them, and they have a similar feel. But I've heard... bad things, about Fatar products in general. The overall construction of both the keyboards is less than stellar, but they are cheap, and won't be moved around much. Keep in mind that the M-Audio board is about $80 cheaper. Any opinions on such a purchase out there?

You really dont have any options in your price range. Even used mid eighties weighted controllers like the KX 88 run around $350.

Well, like I said, THESE are the two options. I'm certainly going to get one of them, I just wanted to see if anyone had any interesting things to say about either of these two boards, or either of these two brands. Note that I'm looking at MIDI controllers, not a full keyboard with built-in sound banks. Just the controller.
