Getting a OUT OF SCAN RANGE problem with HL.

I had two monitors installed on my computer before so they're is 2 configurations. Sometimes it loads my previous config while I'm with the new config and HL won't run, and it says OUT OF SCAN RANGE. any suggestiosn?

Good afternoon. Usually out of scan range is a message your monitor displays when you try to run something in a resolution it doesn't support <ie 1600x1200 on a 15&quot; monitor>. What resolutions are you trying, and what resolutions does your monitor support? Also, what res is your windows desktop at? Is it just in HL?

Also, make sure windows has your CURRENT monitor setting enabled. Usually most of the time it could be a driver. Find the most current driver for your monitor, and delete and monitors that are still in your windows system settings..
