I was wondering when i do get my card, what should be my plan, should I uninstall my old MSI/Nvidia drivers I have a MX4000, and then load up the card, and download the new drivers for my 6600GT? or should I just do a complete and utter reformat, of my OS hdd, and just reinstall everything (wouldn' take too long, though i dont really wish to do so), Would doing that give my a performance boost?

You don't have to format your HDD. Since you are going from nVidia to nVidia then you might not need to do anything, although uninstalling drivers, shutting it down, placing new card in, start it up and install drivers again would be preferable :)

Uninstall the old vid card drivers first. Shut down, put the new card in, fire it up, and install the new driver.

Same thing that ice said.
