After a very long time of waiting I am finally going to get the Leadtek Geforce Ti 4200 128mb. I'll be switching from a GeForce 2 gts. I guess my question is this...will the ti4200 with my P4 1.5 and 512 rd ram be able to play Unreal Tournament 2003 with settings maxed? All I can do with my GTS is fly around and look and the scenery. I want to be able to play this darn game and have it look good too. But too many posts here have me wondering. I'm seeing 4600 cards with over 2 gig P4's saying they're bogged down. Anyone got any thoughts here before I get the card. Thanks.

the ti4200 will be good.
it plays pretty good for me, i'm an fps fiend and i consider it to play okay.. i would like constant 60+ fps but that won't happe with anything but an R9700 pro..

95% of the time UT2k3 is running good, when 5or6 guys get on the screen then i hit the 20's (i use 32bit max details too)

but for a cheap card, awesome!

Unfortunately I gave up smoking 2 years ago. But to answer your question Mannkind...I hate, just hate lag and stutter. With my GTS I could play 800x600 at medium detail and ofcourse no AA. but as soon as 5-6 players hit the same area as me and we were all shooting like sh_t I lagged alot and often found myself splattered. I don't like lag, I like eye candy and I don't like to die. That's why I want the GeForce 4. I could fly around with high detail and no combat...and it looked good. I want that when I fight.

Yield, thanks for the go ahead comments

xp1700
256ram
radeon 8500le (slower than ti4200)

1024x768x32bit with all details at highest... no AA, though...runs like butter

I max my 9700pro with 2.7Ghz P4 running DDR421 and use 16x ansio and 4x AA and I drop way below 20 at times. I remove the AA and I get no less than 35 at any time
