Getting a New Laptop

I am pretty much zeroed in on this one: Text

And, I want to buy it cheaper, so as I was looking around, I found this site: Text

Question is, will that second site have all the stuff included that the one at the Lenovo website had? It's quite a bit cheaper, plus, there's a $200 MIR, so that will make it a pretty good deal. Just wanted some opinions.

That's a nice laptop, but are you sure the graphics are going to be ok for you? While I'm pretty sure it's better than integrated graphics, it's not going to hold a candle next to anything else. As far as from where to buy it, how will support be handled? Through IBM/Lenovo or through the site? It looks like it comes with everything that Lenovo would ship with it, but I've never heard of CostCentral.com before. How trust-worthy are they and do you feel comfortable giving them $1500?

they have ok resellerratings (7.0)
Gaming, do not care, I have a nice desktop for that. I just can't look away from thinkpads, they are of very high quality.

Our company is a Lenovo authorized sales and service center. All products are new and factory sealed.

Do you trust that? For the MIR, it needs to be from a Lenovo authorized sales center, which it says it is.

I got my T60 from Buy.com. Same retail Thinkpad packaging. Better low price, including no sales tax or shipping costs. I think the only thing you lose is that your warranty counter starts ticking from manufacture date instead of from the date of sale. My T60 was manufactured in March, but I bought it two weeks ago, so that's two months less warranty. Oh well, no problem.

It looks like you're getting a lot for $1244 AR: really big hdd for a thinkpad, sxga+, 3 year warranty, radeon, dvd burner. Not bad at all.

How important is it to have the 15" UXGA "Flexview?" I like the size of just a 14.1" screen better than a 15", but I'm not a fan of poor viewing angles.

The Flexview screen has unbeatable viewing angles, but the 15" models are a bit heftier than the 14". The 14" screen is bright enough, but not terribly great and the viewing angles are okay.

Also some people complain of text being too small on the UXGA screen, as its 1600x1200 on a 15" screen.
