Copper (Thermaltake) is the way to go. As for the fan, I feel for your ears. Over 35db is way to much to concentrate with or for that matter sleep peacefully. Enjoy......

Thermalright SLK-900u is king, whether coupled with a Tornado or Panaflo.

Will the Thermalright SLK-900 work with the upcoming AMD64 and Intel equivalent? I know the Zalman 7000CU definitely will. If the Thermalright doesn't, that might be something to consider as the Zalman will probably be more then adequate for the next generation chips. (Please correct me if I'm wrong).

thermaltake smart fan 2s are great. You can have it run at full speed (75cfm) or use the thermal sensor or use the diode to change the fan speed by hand.

my fan is 48db and I sleep very nicely and no I cannot hear it unless I strain for it. There is no use in a slow fan with some overclocking.
