getting a new gaming laptop

I looking to get a new gaming laptop that is able to run majority of todays hit games, and I would like some assistance with this process as I am not the most experienced, my budget is $700

That laptop is probably OK for very light gaming, but the AMD A-10 5750 APU in that machine had trouble maintaining 30fps on medium settings in many games in 2013. You'll probably have to keep it on Low quality for anything new, and will likely have some issues even on Low settings in some games.

the Samsung Series 7 Gamer or the Lenovo IdeaPad y580 for starters...at that price there are only a couple but if you are willing to spend a little more it would go a long way.

Hope this helps,
