You can't change the mb or psu? I know about not being able to change the PSU but monarch has other motherboards available. The EVGA is a $170 board (-30 if you use the coupon available on another major hardware site), do you plan on going SLI down the road?

On that note, i like your setup, although I'd wait a few days and equip it with a 7900GT, might want to add more ram if you can.

I had one of these cases, and they should take any mATX mobo you throw at it.
PSU should be changeable as well.

looks like a nice, very powerful box, though.

they only have 2 PSU options I think, an enermax 270W and the topower.

Get the setup you have if you intend to do SLI, if you never intend to do SLI go with a different board.

Either the Asus or MSI 6150, of the DFI or MSI ATI482 (whatever the latest chipset) or the biostar TForce 6100 board if you want to overclock some.

Also, I would spend a little more and get a 2x1GB kit of DDR, maybe the OCZ XTC kit.

Since I am bored:

110642 - Asus A8N-VM CSM
102338 - Retail Box Opteron 165
140215 - 2GB kit OCZ PC3200

Those changes total $1454.33.

Personally I would forgo the hornet and build up a QPack rig. Probably build the same machine for a couple hundred less and it will run cooler too.

Check around and just get a case. I love their cases, but their prebuilds are a bit lacking.

I put a Seasonic SS-300SFD in mine and it fits great. Its a 300w PSU w/ 80 Plus cert. I picked it up from Case-mod.com.

Nice setup, but be warned these little guys are not quiet. A coworker of mine bought one from monarch about the time I built mine (~6 months) and he has already sent it back twice. Bad mobo once and a few of the fans went out the second time.
