specs are ~1.6-1.8 core duo, 1-1.5gb of ram, and intelGMA 950 video card.

will this run world of warcraft and counterstrike?

i could get a 128mb go 7300 but the price jumps about 200 bucks, which isnt just the video card, it also has a bigger screen (15.4 vs 14.1). since its WXGA id rather have the 14.1, but if i get 15.4 the res jumps to WSXGA+, which is a bonus.

i really doubt the intel 950 can handle wow. i think it's worth going up to the 7300 if you can afford it. if there's an option for the x1400, go with that instead

Go 7300 on the 15.4" is the only option you get; but I believe that package also bumps you up to the 15.4" WSXGA+, 2GHz Core Duo, 1GB, and other goodies. You get a lot for the extra money

OP, you can technically order pre-configured systems. Lenovo is in the middle of transitioning online ordering systems as I understand it. They want to move towards the built-it the way you want it system, but AFAIK you can still order pre-made packages. I'd call Lenovo and ask about the different options, you may be able to order a cheaper 15.4" N100 with the Go 7300. Worth a look

yea i figured that GMA wouldnt be able to run those very well. thanks for the info fbrdphreak. the build-it-my-way configuration is something i was trying to find with the N100's but all they had was prepackaged configs with some stuff that i dont need (ie, i already have a 1gb stick). ill wait until they finish their transition before i order.

Well I think their current system where you add "packages" of upgrades is the way they're going to stay for a while. From what I saw, you can get the Go 7300, WSXGA+, Bluetooth, DVDRW, Fingerprint scanner, etc for $1299.
