I'm trying to find a chassis at newegg with one thing in mind: a high number of watts on the 3.3v and 5v rails so that I can oc a 1700+ pretty high. I'm looking for something at least 220W on those rails, but it needs to be as low-cost as possible. do any of you know of some good bets at newegg for what I need?

When you say "Chassis" are you meaning case as well as psu or just the psu ?
Need to be looking for a very good 350w or a 400w psu, such as Sparkle/Antec/Fortron if your shopping at Newegg.

Find a mobo that has a P4 connector to power the CPU and you could run it on just about any 300W PSU (maybe even 250W). If you can't go that way, look at the Compucase 6A series ($66. shipped) on newegg.
It has the Heroichi PSU that rated well over spec on tomshardware. Or you could use the Evercase 4252 w/o PSU, and get the Fortron (which also rate well over spec) P300XF (FSP300-60ATV) or P300XFPN (FSP300-60PN) PSU ($72.-$74. shiped on newegg). Any of those should do it for you.

Antec's SLK3700AMB comes with their SL350 power supply, plus it can swallow five hard drives and two 120mm fans (comes with one 120mm fan). That's $70 + 18 s/h, not too outrageous for the foundation of your computer.

You can also get the SLK3700 at Staples.com for $78.50 shipped, plus your local sales tax if they have stores in your state.
The Compucase 6A series is the same as the 3700 but without a door. l like the 3700 too if you want to go the extra $s.
