i installed this_card with a new Soyo socket A motherboard / 1ghz Athlon and 512mb pc133 ram this weekend.

i cannot get the vid card to run opengl on CS or other games. is there a specific openGL driver i need to get or a setting i need to make?

also under the winfox app - hot resources i cannot get into the advanced display settings. all the other options have buttons but that one. what am i missing?

thanks for any information you can provide.

ok i have tried the following without luck in getting my card to run in opengl mode:
installed latest drivers from Nvidia
installed the latest DET XP pack
installed directx8.1
ran glsetup and it said the GL drivers i had installed were the newest version

i don't get it, everything looks right, but it just won't run anything in opengl saying vidcard does not support it.

any more advice please?

If You have onboard video maybe that is the problem - try to disable it or something. If not, maybe some old drivers from some old card are still sitting in the system. Check the registry for Your old drivers.
In any case, You can always uninstall all the drivers, revert back to Standard VGA, and then install the latest nVidia drivers. This should work.
