this has an unlocked bootloader but do we have root yet? and how easy is it? had to use the goldcard method on my desire which wasn't fun

i assume we do have root though. xda devs tend to be awesome!

According to the hardware specs it should support HSPA, but I don't have the ATT service connected yet to test it.

And it played extremely well. Not flawless but about as well as it played on my Macbook pro.

If Sprint releases it before 7/24 then they will have far exceeded my expectations. If given the choice between this one and the EVO3D I'd probably choose this one. Unfortunately, I've got the upgrade bug and am salivating over the features that the latest phones and Android offer compared to my current one. Don't think I'll be able to hold out. That, and the EVO3D facilitates 3D breasts!

afaik, sgs2 isn't tegra in the US/UK. it's something else i can't recall the name of. tegra in india and other markets right?

Chainfire3D lets non-Tegra phones play Tegra games.
