Getting a Deskjet 680C to do PostScript

Is there a way to do it? I remember trying - without success - to do it with Ghost Script some years ago, is there a way to do it now?
 
GhostScript is the only free way that I know of. Unfortunately, I haven't used this software in *years*, so I have no idea if it's still being developed/updated.

Other (commercial) software you can try: YARC RIP, PowerRIP, StyleScript, and Adobe PressReady. Some of these packages may be Mac-only and/or printer specific...
