Getting a dedicated movie player (DVDs, Bluray)

I've been mainly using my xbox 360 to play all my dvds, hddvd, video files...etc. But I notice a loto f jaggies and deinterlacing problems that may or not be an issue with the xbox (can anyone confirm this?). I have the newer models so it's quiest for the most part, but I feel like the scaling and audio are lacking (can't pass HBR audio!). What do you guys think about my plan and do you have any recommendations? I've been looking at the p1500 from the link from hot deals and would probably enjoy the P2550 more.

Get the P2550. It has superior scaling.

I just got a 2550 about 3 weeks ago and it is great.
