Getting a cable company to add channels?

Anyone ever have any luck? I don't get ESPN2HD or FSN HD. And I'm paying $9.99/mo extra for the "HD Tier."

What the shit is that?

Call them up and ask for them. Politely remind them the channels you're intereseted in are available by companies X and Y. When enough people show interest, the channels will be added.

You think thats bad, I can't even get comedy central with charter.
I was told to send a letter to the local office and to get my neighbors to do the same.
So far that hasn't worked.

Do what I did DUMP!! Charter their customer disservice is pathetic 😀isgust;. For me Direct tv was the cure 😀 No I do not work for Direct tv but after weeks of no cable and Charter telling me it was my TV I switched to satellite and now not only is my "broken" XBR miraculously fixed I realize how bad the cable signal was when it worked/ Rant off.

For me It has been less than charter 185 channels including locals. Right now way less as I am getting a $20.00 rebate for the next 10 months  check out the details at their site.

I don't get ESPNHD2 with WideOpenWest, and FSN HD is never on.

I'm just praying that we get the Big 10 net work (BTN).

That sounds like Comcast. We have random service outages on my entire street when the temp hits over 100, all of my neighbors will call in and Comcast still seems to think that it is all on our end (our cable wiring in our homes, not a problem of theirs).

But, they own us. Bell South is far worse and comcast knows that we will not switch to DSL.

The Big 10 network is pure evil. No cable system is signing on for it (thankfully) as they're trying to extract ridiculous fees for carrying a channel that will be showing field hockey and swimming 99% of the time.
