If you buy a big TV at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc., how are you supposed to get it home? I doubt you could accommodate a projection screen TV in even a minivan or SUV. I don't think these stores deliver, so what are you supposed to do? I have an Accord Coupe and the biggest TV I can carry is a boxed 19" set or an unboxed 24" set. If I want to buy a 32" TV, how am I supposed to get it home? Pretend you can't use somebody else's vehicle.

And ordering it online and having it shipped is not a solution because nobody is home when UPS/FedEx delivers during the day.

It's a real dilemma!

Buy from someone who does. Or just be smart like me and ask your best friend to use his truck.

Best Buy delivers for a price (unless you buy when they are offering free delivery). I bought a 35" TV from them and they delivered, uncrated it, carried it upstairs, and placed it onto my TV stand for me. I am pretty sure Circuit City delivers as well.

I worked in a Wal Mart my freshman year in college. Whenever we had someone buy a large tv that couldn't transport it we had someone deliver it. I guees you mileage may vary though.

The menards around here will let you rent a 2 ton pickup truck with a bed box for $17 for 45 miles and 45 and minutes worth of travel time. If you are in a pinch, it's a great way to move an awkward piece of furniature and appliance.

From what was told to me, you don't even have to buy anything big from menards to use it.
